Right after Halloween is the perfect time to start a game of The Forest with friends! After your plane crash-lands on a mysterious island, rescue seems all but impossible. You wouldn't want to leave yet anyway after watching the native civilization take your son from the plane wreckage. Team up with other survivors on your own server to uncover the mysteries of The Forest!
Is starting a server difficult?

What do you do in The Forest?
The Forest is an eerily accurate simulation of surviving a plane crash onto an abandoned island. You'll need to scavenge for food, clean liquids to drink, and even weapons to fight off the local wildlife (or human...life). As day turns to night the temperature decreases and you'll need to setup a camp as quickly as possible to increase your chances of survival.
There is a total of 4 difficulty settings ranging from Peaceful (removing all hostile enemies from the surface) to Hard Survival, drastically increasing the strength of enemies in the world while decreasing available resources around you. You'll want to start with Normal if you want to experience the story as intended.
What's the point of The Forest?
The game gives you small tips to point you in the right direction, but overall the story of The Forest is more hidden than other modern titles. Your party of friends will be trying to survive and improve as the days progress, while the mutants across the island also grow in strength alongside you.
As you explore you'll uncover the truth of the island and inch closer to saving your son from the native cannibals. Branch by branch you'll establish your Homestead and create sustainable sources of food and water to keep you alive on this island. Despite this new home though, you'll need to explore the caves to progress further into the story.
Okay, I'm sold. How many players is the most fun?
Any amount but as far multiplayer games go, the more the merrier! The Forest features a unique aggression system where the inhabitants of the island will attack at higher and higher rates over time. The aggression is also scaled based on how much has been built, making more hands worth of building also increase the enemies.
Despite being a small island overall, there is a massive landmass to explore and days of incredible gameplay with friends.
